Tackling the Complexities of Knee Injuries

Knee osteoarthritis, knee injuries, knee cartilage conditions, range of motion restrictions and meniscus issues are commonly seen by our providers. Cartilage issues are the most common cause of knee pain. Faulty movement patterns are the most common cause of the cartilage issues.  We offer treatment options such as neuromuscular conditioning, physical rehabilitation, injections (corticosteroid, viscosupplementation &/or PRP), & bracing that are often very useful in managing stubborn knee conditions.  Taking a comprehensive approach with a team of professionals that understand the pharmacology, physiology AND the mechanics of the knee (in coordination with the rest of the body), sets you up for a more successful outcome.

Knee replacement should always be the last option. A deep understanding of the knee and how it functions with the rest of the body during movement is the key to success.  Addressing the body’s movement patterns and interactions with the knee promotes much better outcomes.
